Simon Says Monday Challenge “Love This Technique”

One of my new favorite techniques is using the Tim Holtz Distress Inks with the Ranger applicator.  The inks come in great colors, are easy to apply and the applicator makes it a breeze.  On this card I used Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire for the background.  I mixed Radiant Pearls with water and added small droplets of it by tapping the paint brush over it.  The snowflakes are from the new Lawn Fawn Small Leaves dies.  I even used some of the small diamond shaped cutout pieces from the snowflakes.   The Merry Christmas window frame is from Simon Says and was attached with foam tape.  I also used a Versamark pad and stamped the background behind the window and heat embossed it with clear embossing powder.  Finally I used a clear Wink of Stella brush on the snowflakes within the window.  I have the photo at an odd angle to show the embossing in the window…
