Simon Says Monday Challenge “Love This Technique” #2

This is very similar to the previous card that I posted (see my previous post for more information on techniques used).  This is actually the original card and I decided I wanted more contrast so I used white snowflakes on the other card.  On this card I used Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Mermaid Lagoon, Salty Ocean and Chipped Sapphire and reversed the light to dark.  I embossed some paper with Silver Ranger embossing powder and then die cut the snowflakes (they are the new Lawn Fawn Small Leaves dies).  The Merry Christmas window is from Simon Says Stamp.

I started making cards in the 90's and have recently started creating again. It has been exciting to catch up on all the new techniques and tools that are now available! I also enjoy cross-stitching and any creative endeavor. I live in Carmichael, CA which is a suburb of Sacramento.
