Simon Says Challenge “Make it Colorful” #4

I made a similar card last week but this weekend I was playing around with water-coloring it instead.  I had fun but preferred the inked background, this is a bit too light.  I used the same inks – Tim Holtz Distress Inks in Chipped Sapphire and Seedless Preserves.  This time I stamped the image directly on the paper and embossed it with Ranger Platinum embossing powder.  I colored the space ship with Prismacolor markers and then used clear Wink of Stella & Crystal Effects on it.  The stamp set is a new “free with purchase” set (while supplies last) from Hero Arts and is adorable.

I started making cards in the 90's and have recently started creating again. It has been exciting to catch up on all the new techniques and tools that are now available! I also enjoy cross-stitching and any creative endeavor. I live in Carmichael, CA which is a suburb of Sacramento.
